ELD Role and Expectations

ELD Lead Information

  • A representative from each school will take on the role of ELD (English Language Development) Lead. The responsibilities of the ELD Lead include: 
    • Identifying your school's Multilingual Learners
    • Being an ELD Task Force Member at your school
    • Aiding in ELLevation Task Management & Title III Compliance
    • Being a Resource to Staff & helping build capacity
    • Networking with other ELD Leads & Language Teacher Specialists
    • Attending ELD/Task Force Meetings during school year (4 per year)

Work with your school's Language Teacher Specialist for any support you need in carrying out these responsibilities!
