- Visual Lunch Choices: Available in two formats: Large (8.5 x 11) or 4 to a page. Images of school lunch choices made in collaboration with Kindergarten Literacy Specialists, Laurie Murdock (Instructional Coach, Falcon Ridge), and Terilyn Moffett (Lunch Manager, Falcon Ridge).
- Labels/Flashcards in Spanish: Created by our Language Teacher Specialists. There are many ready to view and use, but will continue to be updated.
- Newcomer Resources: Our newcomer site --> click on the Teacher tab for more flashcards; click on the Admin and Office Staff tabs for newcomer checklists.
- Digital Teaching & Learning: Jordan District's Digital Learning Specialists have a collection of tools to use with Multilingual Learners, such as Microsoft Translator and SchoolAI.
- Canva Magic Switch: Can translate text on designs into multiple languages.
- BrainPop.com.
- Freckle.com: Multiple lexile levels and skill-based questioning for the teacher to choose from; includes reading, writing, and math
- Getepic.com: Online novels K-7 in English and other languages (mostly Spanish).
- Houghton: Free VIRTUAL lessons and curriculum for K-12 LA
- Google Drive: Translates documents, sheets, slides, and forms into other languages (Spanish works best).
- Google Extensions:
- Google Translate: Use this Google add-on to translate websites on the go
- Print Friendly and PDF: Use this Google add-on to print friendly looking articles without all of the adds
- QR Codes: Make QR codes to connect instructions, videos, or tips to homework assignments
- Google Translate: Use this App to translate worksheets, handouts, and homework live using the photo option.
